Bounty Hunter (X-Mas)

Featuring a new gamemode by Armageddon! Use your parkour skills and stealth to kill the most targets in 25 minutes!




Gameplay Instructions


Playertype Instructions
Crouch when you're grabbing a ledge to pull yourself up faster.
Crouch when you fall from high places to take less fall damage.
To wallrun, hold space while running along a wall midair.
Hold space to climb up walls.

Two words: Hell. Yes.

I was on this the other day, I had some fun, though the gamemode glitched out and sometimes blamed you for freekill (Console) when you killed your target.

The server would be nice if it wasn't for people running around trying to goad people into freekilling them. There needs to be some sort of system to tell who is/isn't your hunter to try and stop people from getting goaded into freekilling someone thinking it's their hunter.



I will have to check back on this again.
The GUI parts look very useful.

But most of all, i want to know how much it improved since my last visit. :)

We need more innovation like this.

That gui looks a bit lopsided though.
It bothers me.

Though now that the climbing got removed (at least partially), sometimes i keep searching for the dang elevators or stairs.
Also, how do you climb the hanging ladders, they are just a death trap now. :P

Also, please please please please pretty please, remove the explosives.
In a gamemode like this rocket launchers and the such are not really what you need, like at all.
Only makes you make an accidental double kill, in which the double guy is mostly an innocent guy.

The compass thingy is clever but not everybody knows how it works.
The size becoming wider when you are closer should be relatively easy to figure out, but the color being the height isn't something that is really easy to figure out.
Of course you can refer them to the topic, but if there are any other ways to do this, please look at those ways, because it would be cool if that was somewhat easier to understand.

Last thing, while more people is also more fun, it makes it a bit crowded sometimes.
While it is useful to have enough spots in the server i think this gamemode either needs an other map that has some more breathing space (the alleys and walkways can easily feel crowded) or less people on the same time in the server.

The climbing wasn't removed at all, we just revamped the map a'little. The changes literally force you to use your player abilities to get wherever you need to go. Elevators are located in almost every building in the map. It's possible that we can also work on another map, maybe map rotations? I have a concept for the next one. But it's just an idea. I'm not 100% sure, but ask Faraday. I din't make this map by myself lol.

I'll ask about having certain weapons added, removed, and or tweaked to make the map/gamemode/players more balanced.
We are sticking with the Quake weapon pack for now. It's not up to me lol. I did have a suggestion from a player asking if we could make all dual wielded weapons single handed.

I can work on the map a bit more. I do agree that the narrow roads do get clumped up very easily based on my gameplay there yesterday and today. I'll make maneuvering around more strategist so that won't happen anymore. With the compass, you'll have to talk to Arma lol.

I must have done something wrong for the climbing to not properly work or something.
Never was good at it anyway.

Ah well, it is pretty good though, had a blast.
Never won, but i am just too slow to win. ;)


Hey, the server's been empty for quite a while. Can you update it with the new Parkour Playertype version?
