I hate people these days that think being a complete idiot is "being yourself." They think that when people make fun of them for being completely stupid that somehow their individuality is being oppressed. People make fun of your stuff traits because they don't like them; if everybody hates something about you, you should probably change it. This is not removing a part of yourself, this is becoming the best you can be. The fact that people think that having stuffty character traits is a good thing boggles my mind.

I've had very long philosophy/culture class debates about stuff like this.

I don't really want to spew out everything here, so for now I'll say it doesn't necessarily bother me. I don't know these kids at all, and they may have a good reason to all be on their phones.
