For those wanting a visual depiction of the various modes, see here. Not every function there is in Tango, but it seems like the other way around is true. If you hover over a graph, it'll show an actual animation.

Would you be able to incorporate something like this with the default text functions, and would other users with or w/out the files be able to see it the same way?

If someone wants to make an Add-On that adds Tango functionality to some default GUI's, they can. This is a library. Not an Add-On.
