also, it was free at first due to it being in a closed beta, then it had some freemium that did almost nothing except get new characters and other stuff I can't remember

that other stuff was access to the full game. There was a membership for the full game after beta.

If this was bannable, then that TTO server code posted on the TTR thread would be, too.

I remember I got a subscription when it first came out. Then I stop playing it after a while. Then it turned free to play. Now it's shut down.

More than likely this isn't cracked, you would have to obtain the actual server program to crack it. This is probably a server emulator, which is completely legal.
