Author Topic: Should people host REAL servers?  (Read 2741 times)

I've noticed there isn't a lot of GOOD Blockland servers, mostly FNAF 1/2 RPS, Family RPS, Freebuilds.

There are practically no Fort wars anymore, Slayer games, Gravity Cats TDM game was taken down, And really no Public builds.

I really enjoyed Tezunis prison escape and Gravity cats TDM but Tezunis admins are ban-happy for some reason and Gcats TDm he took down for some reason? In-game the FNAF thing is driving me loving crazy, Family RPS are just random games with people who just do nothing, and Freebuilds are self explanatory.

I would host my Fortwars more often, but the community is just so bad.
Blockflat is kill.

I recommend Elm's Land of Blocks RPG. He's put a lot of work into it, and it's one of the only Blockland servers I've seen that can actually mimic the experience of playing a standalone RPG.

just ban the bad people, not everyone is bad

I do ban the bad people, that's the problem. There's too many people doing stupid stuff that's obviously against the rules and they try to fight it, it's not worth the hassle.

Same, I play WoW for now, waiting on a new server to come up...

That's the beauty of being an administrator -- you don't have to put people through trial before you ban them. You see them violate a rule, you ban them. Problem solved. No argument or hassle involved.

Too many loving fort wars. They used to be cool until loving everyone started making them and now mine only gets 2-4 people in 3 hours. loving FNAF servers have been pretty ridiculous, I made a topic a couple weeks back. But one of the biggest things is that some of the older great server-makers have grown "too old" and "mature" for BL, plus there's the community that is rumored to be stuff (not my belief but I've heard it said a lot), and people also claim that Badspot won't update because he has lost interest. And on top of that, there are a lot of older users who are being imperialist to the new users simply because of a number, and that drives people away. People have just stopped playing in the past several months.

Bottom line, there's a reason for this decline in servers.
