the dollar was fine and everyone on earth used it to trade and it worked great. until nixon took us off the gold standard.
at that point, the federal reserve just went crazy printing more and more money. no regulation, no limit, (gold is what controlled a limit to existing money) they didnt even legally have to let anyone on earth know how much they were making or who they gave it to. to this day the US government still has no idea what the federal reserve is doing, because they dont have the right to audit them.
well if you are a bank (the federal reserve) and have the exclusive right for 100 years to all of earths spending power because you make and hold infinite money. there is nothing left to expand upon unless you get other banks involved.
so they gave money to all big banks so they could lend it out and create stuffloads of debt.
in the end we have a bank that can print its own money infinity, at the top of the world's debt chain. because those with infinite money, need you to repay them.
the only deciding factor you need to know when picking someone to vote for, is what side they fight for when it comes to auditing the federal reserve or removing them from having that power over our money.
obama and bush both support the fed, and fought hard to keep bills from hindering them.
