Vincent inhales slowly before letting out a brisk sigh, "Whoever has the lightest load, loving climb up a tree, and get bearings." he says for a moment, when he hears someone has a compass, he perks up and looks to the individual, "Alright then, you should climb up." he says, "Also, if there are any broken tablets, someone should try and salvage them for working parts in case whatever one with the timer starts to break." he says with a nod.

"Right now, whether we're in Cirnicus-IV doesn't matter too much as our survival does." says Vinny with a tilt of his head to the side. "Oh yeah- I'm Vincent Romano.. But uh, all my friends call me Vinny."

I hand all of the tablets to Vinny. "I'm Arnold."
I sprint to the nearest tree and scale up the branches. I can only make out a few things. I come back and report my sightings.
"Trees. Just a stuffload of trees. It may have been me going crazy, but I think I heard a noise coming from the west."

"Levi Griffen. Call me Gunner. After we determine a direction to go in, we should assign roles. Whoever has the most fighting experience should take lead to protect us in case of wild animals or enemies. Lightest load should scout ahead. Vinny, those flares should be useful if we get attacked. Someone else had to get off the ship, or maybe someone from the academy would see it. The camping supplies will help us if we don't reach academy by nightfall, and if we find any water source we need to fill the canteens."

Taking the tablets, Vincent looks them over, "Nice to meet ya', Arny." he says before he grunts, sitting down and quietly popping of the screens of either of the broken tablets, carefully taking apart and out the individual pieces of the tablet that are intact before discarding the rest. If any of the screens are not broken, for whatever miraculous reason, then they are saved as well. "Right, not even any signs of other drop-pods?" he asks before letting out a sigh, "stuff. Well we'll have to be wary of other squads then." he says with a sigh before he takes out a flare, if it's a flaregun he has it ready, and simply over the device before holding down at his side, ready.

"We're gonna have to move to high ground if we wanna get anything done, if the noise came from the west, we'll head north-west and flank around until we find the location of the noise. When we move out though is the question.. Anything in the pods? Emergency kits? And Gunner is right, we'll need to assign roles. I'll hold stock of everything for the most part."

"Wouldn't the other squads work with us? Unless this is a training exercise, which I doubt. Anyways, the sound will at least be a starting point. We don't have anything to work off of at this point."

"Whether they work with us or not is more or less a fifty fifty chance, and considering we have supplies, they may want those supplies. Best to be safe." says vince with a shrug, "That's what dad taught me."

"True, better safe then sorry. Kenny, you got a compass with those camping supplies?"

I sit, still pondering.

"Most definately a training exercise, considering there is a timer. My mother told me they always do these things, but it is new every year."

I turn to Gunner and respond. "Negatory. I thought Arnold had it on the tablet."

I get up after a while and check the pod.
"The only thing I could find in here was a first aid kit."

"Arnold, check tablet for a compass. We need to go north west towards the sound. It's the only lead we have."

"I gave those tablets to Vinny 'cause he wanted to grab the extra parts off the broken ones. Check your bag."

"He did." says Vinny as he waltz over to Arnold and hands him the new spare parts and the tablet, "You're in charge of this." he says for a moment before looking over to Kenny. "Alright, we'll need to conserve our resources carefully- we should be heading west to high ground. Any objections?" he asks with a tilt of his head back and a raise of his brow, maintaining his serious demeanor before he looks up to the sky, checking where the sun is.
