here in bakersfield where we really need the rain for all the farmland, all we're getting is a bunch of wind. it's supposed to rain tonight at like 3 am or something but usually when there's a chance of rain we get absolutely nothing

school didn't go out today so whatever, entire school has enough water constantly flowing over the concrete to soak through your shoes, strongest part of the storm hit us a half an hour ago or so, my pants are a shade darker from all the water it's picked up

The farms are pretty important, we grow tons of crops that other state's other state's will not grow. We grow tomatoes, almonds, oranges, grapes for wine production, tons of corn for animal feed, straw berries, etc.
