Issue with the forum.

For some reason, I can't change my profile pic in the forum. It just either infinitely loads in my browser or it does not change. Is there something I need need to do, change the size?

The Blockland Forums have been having avatar issues for quite some time now, it's just kinda random

Your avatar may also change but you'd have to reload with Ctrl + F5 (Firefox) or Shift + F5 (Chrome)

From what I've heard, the forum's server (or whatever the proper jargon is, not really a tech guy) recently has really been not liking it when you change your avatar after the first time. But, always make sure your image is 75x75, as small as possible (as in compression), and try every typical file type (.png, .jpg., .gif., etc.). Animated gifs are also harder to make your avatar because they're usually larger than regular files.

If it helps, your current avatar is a shiny zoura in its idle animation. Sometimes your computer forgets to update its cache (again, i think this is the wrong jargon but i'm trying) and unless you refresh your current page, it stays the same.

Can we also see a picture of your new avatar?

I think I've heard the issue is that it writes over the file of the previous image on the server, and then Cloudflare, the middleman between you and the server that keeps a cache of website assets, doesn't update its copy right away. If you did it right, it'll take a bit for Cloudflare to update, then it'll show.

I changed it to some random picture I had been editing. I compressed and reduced the size. Thanks!
