Whats the maximum size an image could be on this forum before it starts to page stretch? I don't seem to notice them on a 2560x1600 monitor, but others do.

for me it's 1000 width

i use 1000 if its a big image, but i usually use 800

For those who have a 1024 or 1360/1366 monitor, i'd say maximum width should be 800

Alternatively you can set the height to 300 or 600 if you want

u want an example of p          a            g             e         s        t     r    e      t  c h?

Unless people have a small monitor, 1000 should be the max you use.

EDIT: Just because its a pagestretch for you and your tiny monitor doesnt mean its a pagestretch for everyone else. IF you quote it and it says (img width=1000or lower) its not a pagestretch.

doesn't the forums automatically set the width to 1000 if it exceeds 1000?

not unless you manually put in img tags using quick reply

I dont think it does. If you say, screenshot a game at 1920x1080 and upload it to imgur, the link will still keep the image at 1920x1080. Multiple times ive had to manually change the size of my screenshots because of this. Also, the backgrounds thread is a good example of the forum not automatically resizing images.

it doesn't change it if you don't edit the image with the width= thing, but if you can't manually set any image to be over 1000

There is no one anwer to this question. It depends on the viewer's monitor resolution

It used to, but not anymore

I have a Stylish style that fixes  [img] and [code] page stretches
