should i alter between synonyms? then ill just sound crazy
I think he's saying that the whole "it was all a joke" thing could have been a bit shorter.
And also, that excuse is used all the time. Kind of like the "it was my brother" one or "sorry I'll do better next time".

The one who's telling the guy on the left to shut up before he gives his honest opinion?
Maybe it's because every time Linux is brought up, he stuffs on someones honest opinion.

except its not an excuse but a legitimate reason. it was a joke. what exactly do you want me to say here? it was all a plot i formed to take down Linux once and for all?

calling someone an "3lit3 Linux hacker" isn't stuffting on an opinion. the statement in and of itself is a joke. it can be seen. its not like it was hidden away and i made you search deep for it

but aside from that in the thread i said "why not install windows..." and you shot it down with a silly reason. i gave you a real conversation on why that is false. i told you that he can install it and run it fine and i added that elite hacker thing at the end to create laughs, mainly for myself but you took it to the heart for whatever reason. i wasn't being serious when i called you a hacker, i was being serious on why he should install windows on his laptop

and now is where we go back in circles. "you were mean" "no i wasn't!" "youre a richard!" "i was joking" "blockzillahead created cancer!" "i only created ebola"

i thought jokes were supposed to be funny

i wasn't aware there was an audience watching me

that's painfully obvious

It makes it look like you're saying that people only use Linux if they are pretending to be hackers.
Even if that's not the intention, it looks like you're being an starfish.

i wasn't aware there was an audience watching me
Then what's the point of a loving joke.

OP was looking for a LINUX operating system. You, having a past of not being okay with other people using Linux, tried to get OP to change what he wanted to use by saying Linux users are all hipsters who want to be edgy hackers.

Yeah the guy's a richard. I think he's great. It's cool to see someone with unpopular opinions and the balls to stand by them.

Yet he has a habit of stuffting on other unpopular opinions.

"stuffting on other opinions" is code-word for "he disagreed with me and I'm offended", right?
He's allowed to disagree with your opinions lol

that's the joke and I think its hilarious. the jokes, they are mainly for me, maybe they create a few laughs for others but I only make ones I find funny. im the audience to myself.

i gave him a suggestion to keep rolling with windows because i prefer it over linux. am i such a bad guy?

get this, he wanted a Linux os not because he wants to learn Linux, but based on the lie that was spread around by god knows who that windows cant run on older hardware no more, leaving Linux as his only choice. that's a clever assumption right there because its probably true. so i shot down the lie out of the air by saying that he should install windows 8 because it can run. why waste time learning Linux? it has no real use for him. its asking for trouble.

but hey he chose otherwise. hes going to install Linux. and you didn't see me going in calling him out for that. i gave him a suggestion and he didn't take it. so i moved on. maybe you should too

Yet he has a habit of stuffting on other unpopular opinions.
unpopular
yeah except me and like 2 other guys were the only ones to suggest windows and everyone else suggested a variation of Linux
besides this claim is false. i don't stuff on opinions, otherwise id be banned by now

He's allowed to disagree with your opinions lol
but he was a jerk to me on another drama and he kept starting stuff and when someone asked him to stop he kept going
