Author Topic: So I possibly may be getting a new phone - What Android to get?  (Read 1120 times)

I'm getting sick of this iOS bullcrap, it's really uncustomizable, even jailbreaking it doesn't do it much good.

Android has a lot more, it's even a lot more customizable, especially with rooting.

What Android phone do you guys recommend? I'm thinking Nexus, but I'm not sure.

nexus 6 and htc one m8 are good options - i own the latter and it's served me well
also consider the moto x, that phone is gorgeous

I just, (like literally just, on Friday) got a Moto X. I'm coming from iOS as well, and I'll have to say that your best bet is to either go Motorola or a Nexus phone, preferably the one made by Motorola, lol.

Seriously though, I couldn't be happier with my Moto X, I've virtually forgotten about any reason that I liked my iPhone.

I had the Razr M which I enjoyed alot but couldnt afford the bill so now I have a small little thing I got for $20 but it still works.

The razr was cool cause it looked like those old crt monitors when you turn them off with the screen going like *bzzzzzzzzzzzzt*

Checked, and I'm eligible for a upgrade with a discount on the new phone.

Best Buy has the Moto X available for 49.99, would the discount still apply there (contract is w/ AT&T)? Or would I have to go to the actual store & check?

I have galaxy S4 mini and its probably the best phone I ever had. (Only had 3 anyway) just don't get a sony xperia, they are stuffty as forget and even a brick phone is better.

i have a lg access lte because i'm a poor forget

but it's pretty good considering the price, just not that many otterboxes for it

im going from my super customized android to a 5c

pray for me everyone

im not completely sure but it should apply if best buy caters to different companies

just to be safe i would go to the actual att store

I'm getting an LG G2, maybe you can use that as a reference but really, what kind of budget do you have

Nexus 5 for budget and nexus 6 for awesome

There's no other options

forget all the others with pre-installed bloatware that you can't delete wihout rooting your phone
