For the longest time the Russian's have been running around with aging Soviet equipment from the 90's. I'd say after 20 years it would definetly be the time to modernize. Although if compare what the RU has now to what we have, they still pretty formidable.

Badspot should consider Furling threads to be a spam thread. He could have easily brought this up in the topic about the ruble falling, but for some reason decided to adbot it up and start posting weird CNN infographics in a completely separate thread.
