The unfortunate assumption of self-proclaimed affluence based upon venaculistic choices, as obscure as they may be, is based relatively on the receptor of the dialogue. If their sociological conditioning leads them to believe that there is a significant difference in they way the will be treated by a person whom acts or talks in a certain manner, they are more likely to interpret that person in the manner they expect, even accidentally.
I like saying things in a superfluous manner because it is more fun and I feel bored when I fail to fully utilize my vocabulary whenever I can, I have however gotten into arguments where people assumed I thought myself better than them due to my word choice which I found very unsettling, but a consistent response nonetheless.
