Seriously something is messed up with you guys if you think there is a right or wrong personal preference to have, especially something so trivial as typing styles.

doesn't "No." seem more hostile than "no?"
No.

Basically what you're saying is that you're basing a person's attitude/tone on whether or not they capitalize and punctuate. Even though that's how the English language has been constructed and such things are very useful.

This is legitimately upsetting if the younger generation dislikes proper grammar so much. It does have a purpose.

Are you referring to yourself?

I'm pretty sure no one said it didnt have a purpose, just that there's no real need to use it in a setting like this, old man. Unless something somewhat serious comes up, of course.

because doesnt make it seem as if im so serious about stuff

i dont like to look formal

sometimes I use it in joke situations
Why? We do not know.
it just seems more monotone and funny in certain ones, I really hate coming off as serious and using correct grammar on here really makes it look like that

Wow overly aggressive much? Chill out dude.
hope he wasn't made blocklander of the year

No.

Right now I'm being grammatically correct because my phone autocorrects and I just go with it.

It just reads differently whether there is or isn't capitalization.
I dunno, lower case everything just gives off such a mellow tone in my head.

its a waste for me to hit the caps/shift button or apply periods or commas when im not writing a school or official article of prose that would warrant said grammatical/punctuation devices

If I cared enough, however, I would type like this consistently on every internet forum I visit, even on Steam messages.
