Author Topic: "The Interview" Release Cancelled by Sony Pictures due to North Korea's Threats  (Read 3840 times)

Welp, good to see the world is still just stupid as forget. Good to know that's not going to change anytime soon.

... the film is offensive. Can you imagine if a disliked country that we are not at war with (lets say China) made this film, but rather than Dennis Rodman's Pal they were going to kill Obama. People here would obviously be upset.

I don't think things should be cancelled because they are offensive. I support free-speech, but acting like there's nothing offensive in it is silly.

Shame. This movie had one of the best promos: "If you don't watch this movie, the terrorists win!"

eh the movie will probably get leaked eventually

except obama is not a dictator that americans worship and we can actually take a joke

Sounds like something they would say about a Counter Strike movie.

It only makes it more offensive. The leader of North Korea is in position for life-- the people become attached to them. Its more similar to murdering the Queen of England.

Here's the deal though, we'd get upset, but we wouldn't flip a stuff and try to stop it from being shown.

also, speaking of bad luck for sony.
someone sued them, and sony failed to get the case thrown.

lol console trash gamers

What you guys don't realize is that, while NK might be a stuff country with little to no actual diplomatic power with other countries, it still has a large and wealthy enough government that it could find and hire an actual assassin from a different country, or pay a skilled group of people to hack sony.

What a shame, the movie looked pretty funny
pfffff lol

seth rogan playing himself in every single movie is getting old
