(900$ or below in my budget so stop complaining)

Any suggestions?

You should really invest in a desktop, I have one and its a huge powerhouse!
But that's just my recommendation, I believe ASUS is making some gaming laptops, and Alienware is not bad of a brand. Or Razer's laptops.
I'm not sure in their prices but you should really check them out!

they are both pretty bad brands in terms of cost efficiency

I just looked into the prices. They're kinda higher then what Damp is expecting.
I do say though you can get desktops for a way cheaper price. You used to be able to build desktops and get really cheap prices but custom-made manufacturers like CyberPower and etc  are kinda around the same prices as building.

Get a lenovo

Bin stop telling him to get a desktop. He obviously wants a laptop, now leave it at that.

my room is the farthest away from the router, most Ethernet cables can't reach that far

I've been thinking about getting this thinkpad, it was originally $1,413.00, but its on sale for $649.00

you guys think its good?

I'm using a Toshiba satellite C75-B with AMD Radeon A4 Graphics running windows 8.1. Runs Gmod, TF2, Blockland, and Skyrim smooth. Price is pretty good for a laptop with a 1600x900 display and 8GB of RAM.

If you can save up a little more, then wait and buy the lenovo y50

Problem is that isn't a gaming laptop, all it has is intel integrated graphics.
