Author Topic: gaming laptops under 900$  (Read 1056 times)

I've been thinking about getting this thinkpad, it was originally $1,413.00, but its on sale for $649.00

you guys think its good?
The GT730M is awful, and you have to get an i7, because the mobile i3 and i5 CPUs aren't too flash either.

Thinkpads aren't gaming laptops. You want to look at the ideapads.

Honestly, from experience I can tell you that it isn't worth buying a laptop for under 900. Just save the money if you REALLY want a laptop.

man that is a sick deal, even though its not made for gaming i would still pick that up. good deal.

my room is the farthest away from the router, most Ethernet cables can't reach that far
I've had a half-mile ethernet cable before, its possible if you splice a few together. Of course at that point its not the fastest but still.

That's basically impratical as forget.

It isn't the fastest, it sucks. Ethernet cables start losing their quality after 100 or so feet/meters I don't know which.

What else can you do when the router is that far away?
