Author Topic: How do i divide by zero?  (Read 1748 times)

I'm wondering how. Any help will be appreciated!

When you take a division by two real numbers (Let's go with 25/5) it is a measurement of how many 5s must be there in order to make 25, in this case 5. Because zero has no value, as you continue to see how many things without value can be made valuable, the number you would require rapidly approaches infinity.
In other words, you don't.

except that a/0 is the limit from both sides, which is undefined

QED

wait, you're dividing it between nothing so say we had a cake and it was cut into 8 slices (8) and we divided it between no people (0)
you'd still have the slices of cake (8) and you'd have divided between 0
not only would you have divided by 0 you'd also be a greedy bitch!!!

FLAWLESS LOGIC

10/10 couldn't agree more

first you get a box, then you go inside it. but imagine yourself outside the box, and the answer should come to you naturally.

10/10 couldn't agree more
that is because nothing comes after 10
you cannot agree more than 10 here unless you raise the last two digits to 11

here's a graph to help you comprehend what is happening when you divide by 0

The function y = 1/x.

As x approaches 0 from the right, y approaches infinity. As x approaches 0 from the left, y approaches negative infinity.
