'People can't change', but people can age their logic through various tactics, including in Furling's case, trial and error. He received a great deal of criticism because of his poor grammar, most of which Furling has improved since that post. A few grammatical errors can still be found in his later posts, but for the most part, he bettered his grammar to the point which it was barely noticeable. He didn't change at all, but he adapted from his criticism. His 'clickbait' threads was a reasonable notice to some, but from the time I've been here, I personally enjoyed his news threads as I would any other informational topic. Albeit, he made a relatively large number of them, but each one had enough quality to distinguish themselves among 'spam'. He provided his source, gave his opinion about the subject, and requested that others do the same. That alone reaches far above the content of most other threads I've seen.

How he spoke was irrelevant to the fact that he was an absolute moron.
Aside from being the resident Yahoo adbot, he was also a borderline child enthusiast, a sensitive manchild, and just a generally unpleasant man.

His grammar did improve over time a bit yes, but did his personality change at all during the years? No. And he left because he didn't fit here in his mind. Which is fine that he finally realized it after how many years of people telling him to forget off.

You're going to have to help me understand how being deaf == having crap grammar IN WRITING.

It's like if you knew American English grammar, and you try to move to use Japanese words with American English grammar, it will not turn out well.  He is trying to go from sign language to normal American English, which could have been something he didn't pick up, or does not find value in, let alone trying to transfer a visual language to a written language sharply tied to an audible one.  We can't confirm that he had any mental or social disabilities, though, so those options are not really on the table.


It's sad to see him go, as he was generally nice to everyone.  He was clingy at times, though, and sought a lot of attention.  Also sometimes passive-aggressive, or not so passive.  Regardless I do enjoy reading his posts, even if I had to battle through it to find its meaning—he always had something constructive to say.

Despite his hate for the military I see nothing wrong with him. Did some research myself on his posts and many dramas made about him and honestly he is who he is, and I think a lot of you envy for the simple fact he does not care a bit about what people think. A person who is himself no matter what anyone says or who is around is a person you can respect. These forums manage to scare a lot of people away whether it is accusations or just pure cyber bullying he did not do anything to personally hurt you so leave him alone and carry on with your own life.
