Yes, Space Guy made one of the first TDM mods, which was the most used TDM mod until Slayer came along. He also made loads useful mods such as that auto wrench tool, and some fancy weapons like the Homing rocket launcher.

He was also just a great guy in general. I'm a little sad that he's not around anymore.
