No worries, I can easily understand why you thought what you did, there have been a LOT of bad roleplay servers. I would greatly appreciate if you could tell me all the things you really dislike about roleplay servers in general so I could improve upon what other servers lacked.
I've never been a roleplay person, but I feel like if anybody could make a successful server like this it would be Ike.

The year is 1850. The small town of Glenswood in eastern Manta del Mal, California, has struck gold in the local river. Glenswood, being an innocent town, begins to notice a rather foreboding miasma in the air: Where there's gold, there's forty-niners. Nothing tears a community apart quite like gold fever does.
Along with the newly-arrived miners, a fair few infantry men from the close-by Fort Bidwell started setting up an outpost nearby. If ruthless miners don't cause enough trouble, the military will. However, there's been talk of evil in the foothills, and cattle has gone missing, leaving behind a pool of blood and bones. All the good folks of Glenswood wish for is for peace and quiet to be restored. Who knows when that'll be?
edit: As far as any sort of progress to be made, I've been working on this slowly because of real life stuff, but in the next few weeks you can expect screenshots and whatnot. As as the custom weapon pack goes, that's going to happen later on while the server is actually up, simply so I can take my time learning how to code.
I want to polish the weapon pack a forgetton before release just so it's good enough for general use.
