Here's a suggestion: Don't get an airsoft sniper.

All of them are garbage, what you'd probably want is something more DMR-ish.

The reason all of them are stuff is because of the terrible ballistics of small round objects. No matter what you'll never get a BB to go farther than 50 to 75 yards accurately.

That's not true at all. If you have a very well tuned system, with high FPS, and a heavyweight BB (like .40 gram), you can get great accuracy and range.

Its very hit-or-miss. Also not very cost effective. You can be easily out competed by AEG's aswell.

heavier bbs are p accurate
also aegs dont normally use the same weight bbs, meaning distance is an advantage for a sniper, unless somebody has their fps jacked way the forget up on their m4

Not really. A well set up sniper will exceed 500 FPS with .4's, while a standard AEG sits between 300-400 FPS with .2's. The sniper can easily hit any standard AEG player at a decent distance. That's what you have a sniper for. Distance. Only thing to hit a sniper at his distance is a sniper. Anything else, you need to get up close.

I seriously don't recommend being a sniper for Airsoft as a beginner. It isn't glamorous, and in the end, run and gunning is way more fun. Charging in with a sniper is a bad idea, and sitting back waiting is boring.

CYMA makes decent grade introductory weapons, I bought an AK that still competes well 2 years later, being fairly accurate, fast rate of fire, good distance, and the most reliable gun I've owned surprisingly.
