From POST to ready-to-use, usually 10 - 20 minutes. My HDD is slow as balls, any way to speed things up a bit?

From bios to login screen: 15-20 seconds
Overall it takes about 1-2 minutes if you count the starting of the programs after I log in.

OK, from the second I hit the power switch to login screen was 17 seconds.

There ain't no way that so many of you guys' computers boot that quickly. I have an SSD, and mine doesn't boot in 5-10 seconds.

After logging in, 10 seconds to load everything.
