What is sleep paralysis? ISP is in short words waking up In the middle of the night in the middle of your REM (Rapid Eye movement A.K.A dream stage ) cycle and experiencing hallucinations while temporarily paralyzed In bed, most hallucinations are shadow figures, Demons, or creatures.

My story I have paralysis spells every 2-4 days and They each differ from creatures to figures, So far this week I've had none but they are terrifying. One night after learning about Creepy pasta's I read the more famous ones like Slenderman, Eyeless jack, Jeff the Killer, and the Rake and went to bed at about 1:30. I woke up at 2 in the morning to see arms coming from under my bed frame grabbing my arms and legs to the bed to then see Jeff the killer come out of my closet and walk slowly towards my bed and leaned next to me saying "go to sleep or I'll make you" to then see him raise his knife  and stab the mattress then darkness.

i had it once but the environment was surprisingly tranquil.

it was night, just got off the elevator at my floor in the apartment complex, was riding with my dog. walked down the long hallway like usual. i really can't remember because it happened a long time ago, but i heard unnatural moving from behind. behind me, all the hallways were gradually getting darker, and then it happened where i couldn't move. this was the scariest experience ever because i seriously couldn't move, until i was like, completely shrouded in darkness

i'm not cool :( i dont hallucinate

Consider yourself lucky. I get them constantly and it gets terrifying at times.

Don't say that, It is terrifying.

My brother had a bout of sleep paralysis the same night I read about it through youtube comments. I was spooked in the morning when he told me that.

This bitch has been terrifying me since I was 5... ( crude editing I know but closest I could get )

there goes my sleeping hours

the only time I had sleep paralysis I had to watch a disfigured woman eat food and then start singing about something I can't remember

it was more surreal than creepy

I had sleep paralysis but I realized it when I "woke up"

It was after a nightmare nevertheless but thankfully no hallucinations happened. I ended up crying while stiffly walking to my parent's room yelling "I can't move"

That was not the stuff I'll tell you h'wat

Its okay, I don't have to sleep yet.

most hallucinations are shadow figures, Demons, or creatures.

are irrelevant incomprehensible imaginary figures that silly religious folk or superstitious idiots describe as such shadow figures, Demons, or creatures.

was that really necessary?

I had this once.

So I was sleeping then all of a sudden in the middle of the night I "woke up" and I tried to go back to sleep but I couldn't. Then I tried to get up but my whole body was numb, I figured it was a dream so I thought in my head and I started moving it was sooooo weird. But then I "woke up" again and I COULD NOT MOVE AT ALL, and I trying to scream so hard but nothing came out. Then I saw the typical ghost girl, but I countered it by thinking of pokemon (I don't know how this works) then she went away. Terrible experience.
