Here are the benchmarks for both my iPad Air 2 & iPhone 6.

I'm not on anyone's side here - but benchmarks can mean nothing phone to phone. iOS is a super-beefy OS, causing it to have more lag regardless it's specs, while variations of android take little to no power at all. You just can't judge off of benchmarks.

It's not really an arguement, it's just iOS is lightweight and extremly optimized compared to android which is bulky and laggy.

apparently it gets hotter than the sun though

its the tablet, it does get hot but not hot enough to burn you- just mildy warm after running a game because it disperses its heat through a magnesium panel.

How is the nvidia shield? Heard it was great.

got the cyber monday deal and got portal, half life 2, hl2ep1 + a 60 dollar controller for free - if you got the money to spend its great for just bumming around at school or in your bed - not to mention your home pc at school along with their Netflix service thing called grid gaming that lets you use their computers and servers to play games

I was trying not to comment on this thread anymore untill I saw this masterpiece.
I had an Ipod once from 199 euro, wich was great. Exept that I almost couldn't play a single game because everytime you upgrade the OS it gets slower and slower and apple tries to let you buy an iphone that way to get everything working smooth again.
dropped it once from not even a meter and it already was forgeted up. (Oh and lets not talk about Itunes)
Then I bought a galaxy s4 on a discount for 99 euro. Wich runs everything so smooth, easely rootable and so more possebilities.
well my whole point is not to say that apple is stuff because my first android phone (sony xperia E) was litteraly a piece of stuff. Apple is just ocerpriced for what they offer.

I just think spending 600 bucks on a tablet is too much and should probably get something else cheaper.

apple is really over priced yeah lol

they want you to buy one of their little stuff laptops for like 1200 dollars, lol i might as well waste it on an alienware laptop, but even that's a better deal than what apple offers

He certainly does. I've used both iOS and Android on phones and tablets. I use Android as my daily driver and I have to say that it's the worst mobile OS there is despite it being what I prefer to use.

man the only reason why I'd like ios is because it's optimized like hell. I mean there's a reason why that stuff can run on 1.8ghz and still kick android's ass, even when android has a higher clocked system.
