Author Topic: What performance do you get on Blockland and what are your specs?  (Read 5259 times)

i can play max shaders and still get like 40 frames lol

it's just an Alienware X51, but still that's decent

high shaders usually, if there's too much going on I just put it on minimum or off to get back my 60 frames.

i hate when people complain they have a bad computer

Gtx 880m, I get 30-40fps on soft shaders

tested on a 10k bricks map

40 fps without shaders

30 fps with minimum shaders

10 fps with high shaders

2 fps with maximum shaders

while I appreciate you all posting your performance OR your specs, one alone doesn't really help me...

I need both

okay then

I can justify this because I cant even run minimum shaders.

I can run literally everything else at max with very(ish) stable FPS.

Lenovo Y510P

Windows 7 SP1
Intel i7 2.4 GHz Quad-Core Third Generation
8 GB DDR3 Ram
Nvidia 755M W/2GB Dedicated Memory

Max Shaders: More than 60 FPS, but I have it locked to 60 so the GPU doens't waste energy on FPS I can't tell the difference between. Uncapped, I'd likely get around 200.

Specs are a Intel Core i3-3220, Nvidia Geforce 650-Ti 2GB, and 8GB of RAM. I usually get over 60 fps on most builds with minimum shaders and it goes down to 30 and sometimes dips in the 20's when I have Max shaders/ Performance shaders on in a large build (like 100k and over).

you should've added a build for benchmarking in OP
I get nice FPS on low shaders on Aoki's city RPG (more than 20k bricks)
haven't really stress tested my computer yet

150 fps w/o shaders and 60 with shaders. Probably will be better with my new rig
you're buying a pre-built?
shame on you

I got a pretty beast machine, so the only performance issues I experience are purely network related. Not entirely sure what my average framerate is. As far as I'm concerned though, it's always smooth (when the internet is in my favor, of course). The largest build I can recall encountering was this one http://forum.blockland.us/index.php?topic=236496.0, and everything still ran swimmingly. Here are my specs, according to my Windows partition:

On top of that, my GPU is either a GeForce GTX 780 or 770. I can't quite remember, and I don't feel like opening up my rig at the moment.

What software did you use to display your system specs like that, and is it usable on Windows 7?
