When I upload it and click save it tells me this:
"Your attachment couldn't be saved. This might happen because it took too long to upload or the file is bigger than the server will allow.
Please consult your server administrator for more information."
But it's only 12kb!

I used Photoshop to save it as a jpeg instead of a png, and that made it a lot smaller, so it worked! Thank you!

I dont know about photoshop, But i know that when saving as .jpeg in gimp it gives you a compression ratio value that you can change.
Same applies to .png

Don't use jpeg--it will make the image look like stuff to save size
Try making it into a .gif with a free .gif maker online, just make it 1 image.
.gifs are really amazing in the way of image condensing
