Author Topic: Friend is unable to install faces?  (Read 1837 times)

So I'm trying to help my friend install facepacks on his blockland, but it doesn't seem to be working.
As far as I know, he is installing it completely correctly; he's placing the .zip file with the proper face_ prefix in the addons folder. But for some reason, when he launches the game, none of the faces appear in his avatar editor.
The console.log showed nothing that could have helped as far as I could tell.

Can anyone help?

Can you quit the game then launch it, change the avatar and look for the faces, then quit? I can't tell where you open the av editor

Sorry for double post--noedit
But are you dropping them in your steam common folder, then blockland, THEN Addons? OR just dropping them in documents then blockland then addons. If you're doing it in documents, it's because you're launching the STEAM version, and you're putting them in the NONSTEAM version.
You appear to be launching from steam anyway,
"--------- Parsing Arguments ---------
argc = 4
argv[2] = -noconsole
argv[3] = -steam
Parsing command line arguments: -noconsole -steam"

Well as I said, my friend is the one with the problem.
And he does not have the retail version of Blockland on his computer, so he cannot make a mistake on which addons folder he puts it in.

I tried to get him to do this but he didn't seem to understand what I meant.

. . .

. . .

There's a difference
The Retail is the version that you buy from blockland.us
The Steam version is the version you buy on steam

he diDN'T PIRATE THE loving GAME

In other words he's fixed the issue
