Its up. The Version 27 part(And death of Blockland) will eventually be incorporated into the plot, but for now you play as a Blockhead who ended up in Version 20 by accident.

Interesting screenshots I already took
i feel like instead of jumping to an unreleased version, resort to the v20 client as it exists today

yeah it exists, people like jorgur who live in nostalgia
give us a story on how a player finds theirself in that realm of servers

traveling between old rtb channels
everlasting dedicated servers
possible ties to adventure mode

extremist groups still hell bent on shadows and shaders vs terrain and interior in a perpetual warlike state

old game mechanics ocasionally faltering
addons disappearing into stock piles

legendary weps like the ion cannon or mininuke reserved as artifacts held by single individuals/groups

myths such as renderman or the golden brick actually revealing themselves as true

that would have me hookd rofl

How interested would you be in if I did a forum adventure about the death of Blockland? You control a guy who buys Blockland it 50 years after it dies. The backstory goes something like this....

"Version 27. The last version of Blockland ever released.
The Blockheads decided to quit in mass droves fifty years ago. Riots broke out, bombs were dropped, and private addons were stockpiled.

Badspot, Kompressor, and Rotondo simply ceased to exist one day. Nobody knows why they left without a word, or why Badspot didn't even bother to a last 'forget you'.
Activity slowed to a massive crawl. All thats left of Blockland now is a small remnant of players, some of them old-timers, and others clueless newbies who still buy the game.

This is where you come in. You are a hapless newbie who just discovered Blockland. You have no idea what to expect from a dead, abandoned game, but you do hear of hackers running amok with something called "BLHack.Dll", and brutal, bloody wars raged by the remnants over dominance of Blockland.

You connect to a dedicated server, dead and abandoned. The fact that it is still running is a mystery. You slowly learn how to play the game, and build a cry for help with the bricks that you have. You use up the rest of your resources to spawn a bike and a gun.

You look around and see that you spawned in some tight, claustrophobic space....."

Seems like a cool, creative idea. I'd definitely be interested.

Dialogue trees do not work in forum adventures. Players need as much free-reign as possible. The story seems interesting though! :O

I would most definitely be interested.

Dialogue trees are optional.

I'd assume they're suggested actions.

This does look interesting. If you do make this I'll probably participate at one point or another.
