Author Topic: iPhone Might Have INTERNAL Damage  (Read 2655 times)

Yeah otterbox isn't that bulky. I use it for ipad and had one when I had an iPhone. It used to be bulky for the older models but they really have slimmed their cases down for new phones and tablets. The cool thing about otterbox is the lifetime warranty. Just take two pictures of the damage and send them to otterbox and they'll have a new case to you within a week. I've done it like 5 times for my iPads and then just sell my damaged cases on ebay lol.

Topic Change....re-read OP.

Holy stuff, you can just go ahead now

encase your phone in a cinderblock, no more problems.

I am thinking about actually talking to him about paying for it, if that doesn't work then I don't know. Help me out here.
This is not going to happen. Do not count on him even giving you a dime.

Is there not a warranty for things like this?

There is if you purchase the warranty. He said it's been 3 years since he bought the phone so I doubt it's still valid if he even purchased the warranty.

why dont you just warrentee it for a new one.

i do it every 6 months just for fun from verizon because i dont waste the insurance i pay.

That's the reason you take them to court, making them be held reliable for the damage they caused.

Go ahead op, I'm certain there are even sites you can ask these sort of questions online, such as "Could I sue a person for knocking a phone out of my hand, causing permanent/unrepairable damage?".
Again, having witnesses that was there at the scene will make the case more easier to prove if he tried to deny anything.

If it's three years old, his warranty is likely void.
Though, isn't the iPhone 6 only a couple of months old?

Plus his friends can just deny it. It was on school property, which means he shouldn't even have it out, iirc

Yeah, might pull that one the next time I T-Bone a car on the interstate, or if someone saw me assault someone.
That's the reason you have witnesses, a witness is just as good as evidence.
And a judge is usually good at telling which people are lying about a cause, and which people aren't.
That's the reason we trust them with these types of decisions.
And again, people have sued other people with cases just like this, and from what I've seen majority of them won.
Lying in court can be a serious offence too, who would risk a possible additional fine over a 600$ case.

To begin with he should have went to the principle, or someone who could've settled this matter officially.
Not doing so made his chances of getting anything out of him little to none.
If nothing comes out of this, let this be a lesson learned.
Don't go to a forum full of kids~young-adults for a question like this.
Take it to someone who can actually deal with this.

This is literally what I said why are you arguing the same point out of me. He has no case in court for this. I'd love to hear that glass takes this to court and wins.
