i like to play along and insist i clicked the link and filled out some form or whatever.
they will argue that i should try again and again, and i say i did and it worked.
just frustrating them XD

Good ole steam-marketers

I get these sometimes too.

I do the same with the spambots on Skype, that say they want to show you pictures of themselves.

It's fun to try and see which keywords cause them to reply with set phrases. Things like "money" or "child" tend to work, them trying to assure you it's not adult or it won't cost anything.

Somehow I have yet to receive one of these scams

i have a few friends who made about $4k (four thousand american monies (that's like 20 trillion ruple)) off of scamming people for their CSGO items

people actually fall for this stuff

why are you friends with them
they're real life friends and i don't give half a stuff

it's so loving obvious that the people who click the link and download the file that secretly steals their stuff actually deserve it

I don't understand why people respond to the scammers, You are not going to hurt the robots feelings by cursing at it.

It doesn't matter if the bots get hurt or not. This thread is just pointing them out. What's the harm in that?
