So, I have this: http://h20564.www2.hp.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docId=emr_na-c03261074-11

And I'm wondering: Is it safe to overclock my PC?
I have AMD OverDrive, and I did a autotune, and this is what I got after restart:

I'm afraid to do it manually, you guys have any ideas on how I can do this?

Thanks.

why does 1 cpu have a different multiplier lol

yeah its safe... kind of. they are "fail proof". they'll shut down and reset their settings if the clocking is bad.

but should you do it... or nah? theres literally no performance gain, not for your pc. so don't. let the autotune do its thing, increase the lifespan of the cpu.

set your computer on top of a clock

dont oc a video card or memory if your a newb at it.
but anyone can easily and safely oc a processor.

blue screens are just a trial and error until you find that sweet spot. its not a serious thing.

you do it by upping voltage. up it by like....   .010 at a time. dont push it to hard at a time.
play some games. if everything is perfect, the next day try another .010
until you crash from it and need to go down to where it worked last.

im use to having the main setting per all cores. but you can do all 4 at once for i think the same effect

more power = more heat though.
dont oc at all if your just using some stock cooler the cpu came with

click on this button

it should show something like this

next click on 'change date and time settings'

should bring you to a screen like this

click 'change date and time' and adjust it over the actual time.

there, overclocked

ok google
set timer for 10 minutes
let it go over
bam, overclocked

that pc was my old one

does the fan speed up randomly at times?

misread as how to overcook my PC
but yeah overclocking does sometimes cook your PC

be careful, overclocking is an easy way to brick your computer

Step 1). Buy the biggest sledgehammer you can find
step 2). put computer outside
Step 3). Smash the stuff out of it.

alright, enough of the jokes, i'm looking for actual help
although some were funny (nal, fennis, c)

Only when I'm playing intensive games or recording or hosting servers.
So mainly CPU/memory intensive programs.

yeah, I don't have a new cooler. how much does liquid cooling cost, or is there something better?

i don't know, blame AMD's overdrive software for changing the multiplier on only 1 of my cores

I don't know why but all these clock jokes are making me laugh.
