Author Topic: People can not join my server  (Read 2459 times)

I was able to host the past few days and my friend was able to join.  Today he said my ping was --- and I have changed nothing about my server.  I tried to host with default addons and It is still not working.  I have also tried restarting my router.  Im using UPnP.

for some reason my entire console didnt attach so download this one.  i used trace(1);

Same exact thing. I dont wanna hear "oh, port forward" because it has worked perfect before with none of that, and it makes no sense that it doesnt work now. Help us both please.

I had the same too, my ping was --- and none couldn't join my server.
A few days later, the problem was fixed. My conclusion is to, either play the waiting game or reset internet/router.

Here's a good, short tutorial on how to fix that

To fix the problem permanently, you need to port forward.

If you'd like to fix it temporarily, try restarting your router by unplugging it, waiting ten seconds, and then plugging it back in. Then restart your server. This should fix UPnP issues.

I just now tried hosting a server and people are not able to join. They say the ping is ---. I'll try restarting the router to see if it'll fix.

I have this problem too. People used to be able to connect to my server but now they can't anymore.

console log below.

People used to be able to connect to my server without me having to port forward.

I have this problem too,and my port is 28000

It works now, i literally just waited 4 days and poof.
