weird adware im getting only on blf

every few threads i click on the page gets redirected to some random ad page. This only happens on blf, and is not happening on any other site. I've scanned and nothing has come up.

The page is just some news article about health loss with super foods or some stuff. I can't post it because its a referral link, and is a massive url, which blf prevents users from posting.

Anyone know what causes this and how I can fix this other than just adblock?

what do you use? Google Chrome? Firefox?

im using google chrome, there are no extra extensions, i checked that.

this is one of the sites. a lot of them have been flagged by chrome of being malicious and phishing sites as well.

You sir, are infected with adware, I used a really good program called adwcleaner.exe and it wiped all of it off my pc (except the firefox plugins that I can't be bothered to get rid of since I don't use firefox). But you have to get it from the right website or you could end up making the problem worse.

I've gotten adware before and was able to get rid of it with malwarebytes
thing is though, this has not been detected, and is ONLY happening on blf.

I've enabled adblock on blf and now I don't get them anymore. Does anyone know how I can just disable adbot in the blf options?

Adbot is only there if you're not signed in lol.

EDIT: after disabling adblock then refreshing the page, i got the loving ad again. gonna try the adwcleaner thing

I've looked there about 100 times by now.


EDIT: It turns out adblock blocks this button lol. I have now disabled adblock, unchecked the button and I'm not getting the weird redirects anymore.

or it's because adblock removes the checkmark next to it.
