Author Topic: if you could remove one show from cartoon network what would it be  (Read 9141 times)

I wish they had some of these shows when I was kid such as World of Gumball. My girlfriend and I think it's absolutely hilarious, and we're both adults.

Edit:

I cannot stand Adventure Time and Uncle Grandpa, however.
Something tells me you are one of those tumblr kids that say you were born in the wrong generation because Gumball has only been around for just a few years.

If you are truly adult surely you would remember shows like
The Power Puff Girls
Dexters Lab
Johnny bravo
Courage the Cowardly Dog
ed edd n eddy
samurai jack
fosters home for imaginary friends

my gym partner is a monkey

all of them
bring back the good ones like 6-7 years ago

this one still makes me throw up

Some of those shows are brought back at Christmas,if they can do that why not bring them back FOREVER?

Their newest shows are pandering to a different audience than the old shows did.

Removing them all at once to go back to the old would most likely (I think) result in a sharp decline in viewers, despite what one might believe.

Not only that, but most of the old art directors for those shows might not even be there anymore.

That's my totally uninformed opinion on the situation.

I haven't watched cartoon network since the second season of courage the cowardly dog.

Amazing World of Gumball is still running, And I doubt your adulthood and girlfriend's existence.

I remember all of these, when Samurai Jack was moved over to Boomerang I'd stay up just to watch it. Totally worth it.

Honestly, it will never matter who thinks which cartoons are best, because when the kids who watch whatever is on now until the shows are cancelled, it's most likely that there willl be a handful of them butthurt like us, and whine and moan about how the new cartoons now, are classics will always be better than whatever replaced them, and the cycle will continue.

The new cartoons now are plain awful though, the sense humor is no more than a 3rd graders.

I'm actually offended you'd say that. Yes, I love all of those shows too. They have a special place in my heart. I grew up on them. Dexters Lab and Powerpuff Girls were my stuff. XD I remember my mother not liking me watching Ed, Edd, and Eddy, yet I still watched it.

You obviously misread my post. I never said it wasn't still running. All I said is that I wish they had some of the shows which are running now, when I was a child.
