Author Topic: Finally bought a phone  (Read 477 times)

A few days ago I went to Walmart and bought me a phone, I was given $100 about a week ago to spend on one.
For $30 I got an LGL34C with a Straight Talk plan. $45 for unlimited calling, data, and text for a month. Hoping to get a job and keep that up.
I just recently discovered it came with a 3.6gb SD card, unfortunately I have no clue what to put on it because I still have my old iPod for music.
The phone also uses Verizon towers which is great, nearly no dead zones at all.

Discuss phones and what the hell to do with 3.6GB SD cards

I have a phone, but I rarely use it, damn wasting so much money a month for such little use. But of course you have to have a "Year contract" so I can't stop paying.

Why'd you go with a contract? Those are just money stealers.

I know, my parents wanted me to get that deal though.

Your parents should have discussed it with someone who knows about contracts and such, Straight Talk is a really nice way to go if you don't mind getting a new card every month. Best part is they'll activate the card for you right in the store. Well, thats at least how the Walmart I go to is.

i still have my samsung galaxy ace 2 from, like, 4 years ago

still handy to use even today

i could use the sd card, i need more storage for my new tablet
i only have like 16gb on it

we've got a 2 year upgrade contract with sprint and its pretty nice as long as you take care of your phone. it kinda sucked this time tho because my old phone's power button stopped working and i had to deal with that for like, 2 weeks before we snagged a new phone for $50
