it's optical fibre cables
it cost a bit more but it's worth it

I live in the Metro Atlanta area, AKA not rural, yet we have to pay $30-35 for 3 mbps.

Gee, Comcast really doesn't give  a stuff about their customers, I sincerely hope that their company breaks down because I am tired of their stuffty service with their stuffty speeds for stuffty prices.

comcast was the best service we had in a while lol
and i have the same exact upload mbps has you apparently, how does this bother anyone? it's not even the super slow terrible internet everyone says it to be
wait wtf i tested it again and now my download is 3x faster and my upload is 2x more faster, my ping also dropped tremendously

I have almost the exact same Internet as OP and have had for years due to my area, although it doesn't bother me except when I download games
