Author Topic: Target abandoning all 133 of their stores in Canada, Billions of dollars lost.  (Read 2051 times)

That's Sam's Club. Technically not Wal-Mart.
Owned by Wal-Mart. I'd count it.

Welcome back Zellers I guess.

there food stands suck ass, like seriously they have them

one time i was there and like, im not even kidding 50 files where around the place eating some food that fell on the floor and in the trash, it was disgusting
The target here is nothing like that

Target isn't as cool as Best Buy, but I can appreciate them.
They're not even the same kinds of stores.

I'm a Target backroom team member at a store in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada

forget YEAH SEVERANCE PAY

They're not even the same kinds of stores.
Both stores are based in Minnesota.

Both stores are based in Minnesota.
that makes no difference, one is a general retail store and the other sells consumer electronics

I live right across the street from the first Target store

I don't mind Target.

forget target. forget them and their stuffty management.

i got fired for literally doing my job there in the span of 3 months. there was no supervisors in the backroom for more for than 5 minutes. pretty much half the write ups were just us not making times for the pulls (taking stuff off shelves and puttin em in carts and hope to god you get it done all within the hour) and others were complete BS. i contacted a coworker and they said they got rid of pretty much all the new guys because they were all going "too slow."

now i work at tj maxx and it's wayyyyyyy better. it sucks to the people who've been working day one and now are losing their job because target was dumb to even expand in canada.

I applied at Target and they called me just to say, "Oh we wanted to see if you were available kthxbai"

Well if I sent an application I sure as heck imagine that I'd be available...
