Still wouldn't consider it too big. There were some DSi exclusive games. Given, they weren't nearly as popular as Xenoblade, I assume. I don't know how popular that game is.

xenoblade is incredibly popular among "hardcore" players; it's diverse and fun

But yeah, I could certainly use a new 3DS, mine is borked to the point where if I tilt the upper screen too far back, the DS shuts off. And it wont even close anymore, it's stuck in this horizontal position.

On the other hand I don't know what happened to nintendo and their naming. I mean who actually thought naming it "new"  would be a good idea when another system gets released later. Not only that, but it sounds stupid.

nintendo's doing the smart thing with amiibos, unlike skylanders/disney infinity where you basically need to buy more figures to get more content
