"you're an idiot for clicking on a link even tho its from a friend that you could trust!!"

yeah.

yeah.
here's the nicer way of saying it
you weren't being very smart for clicking a sketchy link AFTER all the warnings of people being infected with a steam virus
doesn't even matter if they were a friend

Wow, you three are being richards. If a friend you've been playing with for years on Steam sent you a link to an image, I bet you would have clicked on it to see what it was. If it was a stranger sending him the link then clicking it would be dumb, but if it was his friend then there's no reason to call him an idiot/really dumb, you would trust your friend and click the link.

With as much as these kind of links get thrown around & how often they're talked about on steam & elsewhere, at the very least I'd look into it or ask what it is beforehand. Especially considering the fact that it's even said to spread to other users & do what it's doing to Snaked's account & sending it to other users, it wouldn't hurt to ask about the link itself.

Better safe than sorry.

yeah!  let's bash on him because people clearly don't make mistakes!

hasn't OP made threads about "another steam virus going around" before

Have you even seen what's going around? It's painfully obvious that it's a trap
