ot: if i recall correctly, the jumping sound is from a looney tunes roadrunner cartoon, where wile e. coyote brings out a trampoline and tries it out first by pushing on it with his hands

It's hard to hear because in the games it's always combined with the head bumping sound effect.
It is possible to hear the brick breaking sound effect by itself when jumping on a dry bones in smb3.

how would badspot have even extracted after school special from it anyway? i doubt there's a lyrics-only version and there doesn't appear to be an instrumental
