Author Topic: uncensored songs in public areas (with kids!)  (Read 990 times)

i was at the bowling place sunday and i hear all about that bass comes on. i wondered why it was allowed, but i thought it was censored. whenever the part of the song "we know that stuff ain't real" i was utterly confused and i saw 2 families go up to the desk where the attendants were and complained

Don't see a need to censor them

1) it's just words
2) they go to school so they will hear the words anyway
3) I bet their parents drop cuss words too

there were like 6 years olds there for a bday party jfc

I have to agree with Lightbox, they'll hear it no matter what. While yes its ridiculous its in a public place its not something you should flip your stuff over.

well if it's a bowling alley it's technically a private place

a lot of stuff kids learn today is love

so this words are nothing

I can also guarantee that the kids do not know what the lyrics say. Up until about 3-5 years ago I had no clue what some of the songs I had listened too during my childhood really said.

yeah but if soccer moms find out Bernies Bowling Bonanza played the fbomb a couple times then little jimmy wont get to spend 600 dollars on 2 arcade games and overpriced food.

Seriously, I hear kids cussing all the time. parents think their children are little angels but in reality all they do is talk about love, weed, and need to put a curse in every sentence.

actually please keep in mind that this is tennessee and not new york city

None of those things are morally wrong. So it doesn't really change whether or not they're "little angels."

While it's inappropriate  to play an uncensored song in public the kids most likely don't even know what the words mean until their older anyway and a good parent will tell their child not to swear anyway. When I was 6 I knew the word forget because people said,  but I didn't say it everywhere.

Besides like 90 percent of time people swear they don't mean the actual definition.
