I love Dunlop Jazz III Tortex picks. I use .88mm because it gives me the right amount of flex for greater dynamics.
I started using Daddario strings about 6 months ago on all my instruments because I find it has the greatest longevity of strings I've tried. Ernie Ball gets dull waaaay too fast.
I also just bought a Planet Waves/Daddario Neutrik guitar cable, right angle to straight (the right angle into my guitar, it gets in the way far less). Clicks into all my instruments perfectly.

My next guitar investment will probably be an 8 string. If I get enough money, it will probably be this:

I own a bass guitar, add me to the OP

Finally got myself a new guitar, it is an acoustic made by Savannah. Sounds pretty good and I've been practicing with it, I also bought my first hard case.

I feel like I'm going deaf when I try hearing the bass while the guitar and drums are playing along in songs.

Then when you turn the bass up some it shakes the house.

I've just been using Fender medium picks, gives enough support for hard strums and enough flexibility for better dynamics like you said.

Sometimes, just sometimes, I wish I was rich.
(Incredibly rare Blackmachine B2's)

Or at least a luthier to build my own. :cookieMonster:

I wish I had money to get a Gibson SG, I love that thing!

It's on the individual bridge saddles on the bottom. That's why they're like 100m long.

Oh now I see it, still weird design...

It's considerably lighter (most weigh up to 6 lbs, avg 5), more ergonomic, and in a lot of designs, facilitates classical playstyles.

Fender Squire Black and white Stratocaster, one of the more basic and common types. Really not too bad... but you'll probably want a decent amp with it.
I have barely any idea about my amp... it's a 10 Watt Blackstar ID Core. I have kinda a cheap set up... but it works alright... but playing electric guitar while living in an apartment is not too fun, because you can't rock out too much.

Go digital and never worry about it ever again.
