This thread will be about what kind of guitar you play, equipment, or anything guitar related so if you don't play guitar you may get confused! We'll be discussing what kind of guitar you own, it's specs, your equipment, and what kind of music you play.
Kinds of Guitars ( Most common )Electric, My personal favorite, Electric guitars use metal strings and can be hooked up to an amp to make the guitar louder or put a drive on it to give the recognizable sound. Electric guitars are generally more expensive than acoustic but are tougher with a solid body instead of a hollow body.

Acoustic Electric, an Electric guitar with a hollow body and was most commonly used during the early years of Rock n roll, unlike the electric guitar you can play this without an amp as they are just Acoustic guitars with electric equipment in them.

Bass guitar, This guitar unlike the above use 4 strings instead of 6 and play lower notes than the electric, they are a important aspect for bands but not many people notice the bass when it is playing along with an electric.

Acoustic, This guitar is cheaper than an electric or bass and can use nylon strings for ease of the fingers, this group includes Classic, jumbo, and 12 string guitars.
Strings, what are the differences?Different guitars use different strings but can differ in the metal used or how resilient they are. Acoustic guitar strings can be nylon or metal, Bass guitars use a thicker and lower sounding string, Electric guitars use metal strings that can be nickel or steel wound. Strings differ but you choose what string you prefer!
Metal strings VS Nylon stringsMany acoustic players will encounter this problem when just starting, Nylon strings are good for the fingers as they do not hurt as much as the metal but are less durable that metal strings. Before you mount nylon or metal strings make sure the guitar you're using can handle nylon or metal strings.
