I got flamed for suggesting this so I tried to do it on my own

Instead of showing a very tempting "show garbage" button, it now deletes their whole post! Thank god me.

I thought I made it not block quotes but on inspection i guess I accidentally reverted it. I'll do this.

why would you keep the quote function if you intend to wipe someone's existence from a conversation

Okay updated, the code doesn't touch quotes at all now.

why would you keep the quote function if you intend to wipe someone's existence from a conversation

???

i'm pointing out the illogical nature of post blockers

keeping the quote function still makes the person heard because 90% of stupid things are quoted

but if you remove the quote function you're completely out of the loop in a conversation

the best way to avoid it is to just ignore the black lines on the screen and go about your day like a regular human being instead of being petty and blocking someone so you can have the "optimal browsing experience"

so you think i should fully block quotes as well?

logically you should also block quotes if you intend on silencing someone

morally you shouldn't be proliferating childish software

As per popular order, it now deletes whole quotes as well. May make an option to toggle this. I may make post deletion toggleable as well, so this acts as a true update instead of a ripping apart of the code.

Why didn't you just make it from scratch instead of using his script?
I mean, did you even ask him for permission?

There's nothing saying you need to ask permission? why should he be required to?
