They talk about how they are leaving around the middle of the video

Anyway for those of you who don't know, Inside Gaming has been with Machinima for about five years now, and lately have probably been the biggest part of the channel since people like Sark, Seananners, Hutch, Khail, and BroTeam have all left. They also have a seperate channel https://www.youtube.com/user/InSideGaming that is also owned by Machinima, but now that they are leaving no one is quite sure what will happen to that channel.

I don't really know what else to say here, but I thought that some people might be interested in seeing this and also I don't think anyone else posted about this.

I remember watching them alot when I was younger, it's where I got alot of my news from, I'm pretty sure leaving Machinima is a good thing nowadays right? I haven't been keeping up really.

For Inside Gaming this could be a really good thing, it could give them a lot more freedom in what they do, for Machinima this is probably not good considering a lot of people were only subbed to them for Inside Gaming.

Multi-channel networks in general tend to be a not-so-good idea for really big YouTubers.

Machinima has really gone downhill since it's earlier days, it gave Ross Scott a TON of issues during the making of Freeman's Mind, and after leaving, he was able to power through the series and finish it before 2015

Being a part of Machinima seems to cause nothing but grief for everyone involved these days

Jstar fish Syndicate left Machinima long ago, i don't think a reason was ever stated, all their series like The Gman Squad and such were uploaded to Xanatos' channel, it gave Ross Scott a TON of issues during the making of Freeman's Mind, and after leaving, he was able to power through the series and finish it before 2015

So yeah, being a part of Machinima seems to cause nothing but grief for everyone involved these days
the fact that ross actually finished his series is so great of him
after all the stuff he had to go through, i would have given up. though i guess getting like 10x the needed amount in his fundraiser (paying all his expenses for a year holy stuff) was some motivator

What exactly did Machinima partnerships do that caused issues anyways? Was it demanding videos every week or something?

Yeah it caused lots of trouble for many people that were involved, especially BroTeam when he was involved. I remember when he left last year he made a post discussing all the bad management that was going on, and even said the only people willing to help him were the Inside Gaming guys. It really sucks that such a big network like this has caused so much trouble for so many people.

Im not exactly sure, but I believe it had to do with the contract, and how you were pretty much locked into their network for a few years with almost no way to get out.

I honestly cant stand Machinima as a...thing.

It segments users content and eats publicity to the content creator.
It feels like that channel takes others content hostage.

All I remember was MW2 videos everywhere on it and Inside Gaming was the only watchable thing along with Freeman's mind.

Their shows are the only new videos on the channel anymore.
What is Machinima going to do now?

Rot and fade into obscurity?

Going to be honest; I preferred "Inside Halo", the original series. A lot of my humour got derived from that, since it was one of the few things I would download from the Machinima.com podcast on iTunes.

Back in the day I remember all Machinima had were HALO videos like Arby N' Chief and videos like Civil Protection. It's a shame they become something like a corporate entity.

All I can think of is ETC and Ten FTW
