Why do you complain man, i know its what you do, but like, complain about something that matters.

How about an explanation then?
I asked questions, I didn't say it was bad.

The only one here complaining here is you.

Because there's a GUI?
How would a GUI for a helicopter work or be needed?

Watch the video in the OP and read the OP. It's not your average magic-carpet style helicopter.

There's a video in the OP? I thought it would be another snip of code that I can totally read.
Still though, why couldn't this be a vehicle?
Does it use controls that would be too complicated?

Nevermind. I dont care anymore.
I'll just be given the same shtick.

don't be silly, you're working on the city, remember? it says so in OP! Me and heli-sempai can have some much-needed alone time <3

It is.

More realistic controls.

  • The mouse controls the cyclic, which causes you to roll and move in that direction.
  • Both W/S and jump/crouch control the collective, which causes your overall lift to increase.  Jump and crouch are for more coarse adjustments.
  • A/D control the tail rotor, which causes you to rotate around the vertical axis (yaw).

Makes it that much harder to fly I guess.

Realism vs Learning Curve: the eternal struggle.
