This will not work. Why?
You need a valid Blockland key in order to use Blockland without Steam (in this case, making a dedicated server without Steam).

Steam users do not get a Blockland key. Instead, they are authenticated through Steam.
Steam users have two options:
1. Set -dedicated as a launch option (you will not be able to play on the account running the server)
2. Buy a Blockland key from http://blockland.us/Store.html

Basically, Steam users are out of luck.

Yeah Badspot really needs to make some sort of way so they can host dedicated servers.

alternative is to buy a BlockNet or Hammer slot, I would understand if they couldn't afford it.

OR CBM?

Hammereditor told me of a way to host on Steam that for some reason didn't work for me.

This is not possible right now unless you do some hacky stuff like hammereditor. I wouldn't though because you know how sensitive steam is.
