Issue with planting Modter bricks

Whenever I place them down, they go through no problem. Once you plant it, it usually looks like an A that you have to replace w/ a certain thing. However, when I plant one, it shows some sort of miniature windows screen and stays there, no matter what I do to it.  If I save the build, then reload it, it gets rid of that problem, but then the brick won't take any sort of font. How do I fix this?

This is worded badly. When you plant it does it have it's print set as the 'A' or as this window? Also by 'certain thing' do you mean the print gun? And dont forget to post your console.log

by certain thing, I mean by an image or a letter.
